She asked for a cake with an army tank picture on top of it for her son, who is joining the army.... I decided to make a tank-cake, much more fun :-D She loved it so much, she had to cry! Sponge cake with strawberry meringue cream, covered with white ganache and marzipan.

It is a rather small cake (chocolate with hazelnuts and caramel), 15cm to less than 10cm :-) Topsy turvy, wonky, mad hatter, whatever you call these cakes ;-)

A while ago I saw a beautifull designed cake, it was pink with hearts. Because I'm not very fond of pink and there are allready a lot of hearts in cake-land ;-) I made a version I like. I hope you like it too :-)
