Four tier cake in ivory with white edible cake lace. Ivory roses with pearl spray. Vanilla bean and rich chocolate cakes, delivered to the luxury Dorchester hotel in London.
All white and ivory wedding cake with hydrangea pomander. The bride wanted each tier to be decorated differently so picked cake lace, pearl piping, pearls and monogram and hydrangeas. She really liked pearls. Cakes were a mixture of chocolate, vanilla bean and lemon.
Four tier cake with edible lace, gumpaste roses and hydrangeas, butterflies, ruffles, and a bronze piped tier. tfl.
Typography cake with the famous 50 cent lyric. A bit nuts but very popular at the last wedding fair and next week's couple have chosen the same design.
Pink and gold cake with baroque scrolls and hearts. I used the Wiltons baroque mould for the detail on the top of the tiers. Gumpaste roses, peonies, anemones and dusty miller. TFL!

Ivory cake with white lace applique, dark purple roses and ribbon with blue filler flowers. Two tiers of rich chocolate and one Vanilla bean with berry IMBC. And one smexy venue!
Strawberry themed 3 tier cake with vines and flowers. I saw some strawberry varieties with pink flowers, so here's my interpretation. More pics on my blog in my sig!
5 tier sugar flower cascade cake with royal icing dots. Pink peonies, pink blossoms, peach roses and pink lilies. Lilies without cutter, a lot easier than I thought it would be. TFL!
Funfair themed wedding cake for a photoshoot in pale pink and blue. Ruffle flower and board, striped middle tier with plaque. Little star cut outs to finish. I dont think I'll be handcutting this font again any time soon. TFL!
Compilation of the wedding cake with the original sketch I drew on the computer. Russian & Nautical themed wedding cake. Bride is Russian and they're both keen sailors. Top and bottom tiers were Vanilla bean with berry IMBC and the middle tier was dark chocolate cake with caramel IMBC. The dome on the top is a half circle polystyrene covered in sugapaste. Royal icing piping and the russian domes and waves I hand cut from gumpaste. So much of the couple went into this! As 'unusual' as it is, it's probably my favourite of 2012.
