The cake is is designed around an area called Havelock in Lincoln, NE. It's a GF peanut butter cake with chocolate coconut pecan filling and buttercream frosting.

This is a birthday cake for my twin and me, turning 58! The design is made using gumpaste for background square and little girl cut outs. The little girls are dressed like 'paper dolls' using fondant/candy clay mix. The cake is gluten-free almaretto/coconut with instant coffee lightly mixed into vanilla buttercream.

Sweet Pig Paul Is 50!
This is a 50th birthday cake for my brother-in-law who is a Hall of Fame Bowler in our state of NE. His self appointed nick name is "Sweet Pig"! The term Hof-er is his acronym for Hall of Fame-er. He wanted a German Chocolate Cake with the traditional coconut/pecan topping. This cake is a recipe from the Cake Doctor's Gluten Free recipe book. The top design is made with a mix of candy clay and fondant.

This is a birthday cake for my daughter, Rikki. The flower is a fondant cutout base with brush embroidery design in royal icing. I used luster dust to color the flower. The cake is frosted in buttercream and then airbrushed on top. The cake is gluten free pistachio almond with chocolate chips.

A brush embroidery rose. This is a practice cake for an online class given by Colette Peters on Craftsy, Vintage Cakes, Modern Method. I've used royal icing for the embroidery and then colored the rose with luster and petal dust mixed with lemon extract. This is a gluten free cake flavored with Chai Latte mix from Trader Joes.

Ray Loves Tacos!
A birthday cake for my 8 year old Grandson who wanted himself & his cousins riding a dinosaur and maybe eating tacos! The dinosaur is RKT covered in candy clay & fondant. The tacos are candy clay & cookie crumb shells, cocoa pebbles crispie treats for taco filling, green colored coconut for lettuce, marshmallow creme & buttercream for sour cream, and cut up candy fruit slices for tomatoes & cheese. I put taco wrappers from his favorite taco place underneath.

A birthday cake for my daughter-in-law, Deb. Her birth flower is a morning glory. I air brushed the morning glories and then steamed them for shine. The little filler flowers and leaves were class projects for a Craftsy course, Handcrafted Sugar Flowers, given by Jacqueline Butler (very nice class that I'd recommend). The cake is Chocolate Fudge Cake with Chocolate buttercream frosting.

A birthday cake for a 9 yr old boy who wanted a Lego Jack Sparrow on a pirate ship throwing Angry Birds! The ship is frosted in buttercream with fondant accents and airbrushed. The characters are gumpaste/fondant mix. The island is RKT with graham cracker sand. The water is buttercream with blue sugar sprinkles.

Bella's Tie Dyed Ladybug
A birthday cake for a little girl who wanted a tie-dyed ladybug cake. I marbled the white fondant with black and then placed designs on before rolling out the fondant to give the tie dye effect. I used RKT for the head. The bottom petal cake is frosted in buttercream with a fondant inlay. The cake is marbled chocolate & yellow.

A practice cake for a tie dye ladybug I will be making for a little girl's birthday. I marbled white fondant with black and then applied cutout letters before rolling out the fondant. With a little tweaking, I think this will work with another design I have in mind. I used bendable straws for the antenae.
