Cake made for my Godchild's wedding for her groom. Vanilla cake with strawberry creme inside. Hardest part (except for tediously making the fondant buttons) was getting the "Yankee" blue (royal blue with black coloring, made a day ahead and got darker on the second day)
Cake made of delicate vanilla cake with strawberry mousse inside, covered in buttercream then fondant. Piping was pattern copied from invitation, and cupcakes in background had same pattern made with colored white chocolate.
Chocolate lovers cake inside with oreo mousse, covered in chocolate ganache, then purple and black fondant. Gravestone handmade with colored white fondant, then handpainted inscription painted on.... same with ghosts and pumpkins. Only thing not edible was the spider crawling up the cake... just not cost effective to create...
