This weekend I went to the National Capital Area Cake Show in Virginia. This was one of the pieces I entered. The entire piece is made of pulled, blown and cast sugar. This sugar piece won first place in the Showpiece Division Sugar Non-Pro Category. I also won Best of Division.

I hand painted Monet’s waterlillies with gel colors on sugar cookies coated in royal icing. The puzzle box was created with fondant mixed with tylose. I used edible images for the box top. These cookies won first place in the Advanced Division Cookie Category.

At the show my turntable broke so it did not spin. But if you would like to see it spin I posted it on my facebook page. I unfortunately can’t figure out how to get the video here. This cake won first place in the Advanced Division Novelty Tier Category.
I made these cookies for a friend for her god daughter's baby shower.
I was asked to recreate my dresses that I made for a competition. They wanted 10 dresses total so I got to add in a few more princesses this time. The new dresses are: Mulan, Belle's Pink Dress, Ariel, Jasmine, and Rapunzel.

I made these fish cookies for a friend last weekend and my worst nightmare came true! I spelled her daughter's name wrong. It should have been "Sofia". She was so kind but I felt still felt so horrible about it. Hopefully the little girl was not too upset.
