Choc-Chip Cupcakes With White Chocolate Ganache Frosting
I made these cupcakes for a get-together with my in-laws tomorrow night. They are chocolate choc-chip flavoured with white chocolate (tinted pink) ganache frosting and white chocolate modeling paste pearls dusted with edible glitter. I hope they're a winner tomorrow night!

Marbled Fondant Peanut Butter Cupcakes
This was my first time using marbled fondant, and I had quite a lot of fun playing around! The cupcakes are vanilla flavoured with peanutbutter filling, and buttercream icing is below the fondant. They turned out very yummy! I look forward to working on my marbling skills in the future :) ** The colours are more realistic in the second photo!

Mini Vanilla Cupcakes Witth Buttercream Icing
I made these mini vanilla cupcakes with buttercream icing late last night. I had the intention of creating a different frosting design but discovered after baking that I didn't have the correct tip :( I used Xanthe Milto's rose frosting technique from youtube. My purple icing was a little too soft.

Ganache Cake With Chocolate Modelling Paste
First time using chocolate modelling paste (both white and milk chocolate). Three tier cake with fresh strawberry filling. I was just trying out a whole lot of different things with this cake (topper, tiers etc) so although it doesn't look very pretty I do know that I learnt a lot... it tastes absolutely delicious so I can't be too disappointed anyway :)

Petal Technique
This is my husband's second birthday cake this year and I took the opportunity to try the petal techniaque for the first time. I've used caramel frosting over chocolate mud cake, however I accidently did the top of the cake in circular rows of petals instead of petals facing the centre of the cake. Also the frosting was too soft to keep the shape of the roses in the middle. Oh well!
