Presenting my first engagement cake made for a Fijian couple (Atish and Renuka) who wanted a fuchsia pink cake. 9" vanilla cake, filled with peaches and vanilla pudding mixed with whipped cream, iced with vanilla buttercream and 12" mocha cake filled mocha buttercream drizzled with dulce de leche and iced with mocha buttercream. Decorated with Engagement date tag, double heart toppers, their Initials and a big hand-made sugar peony rose dusted with luster dust! Thanks for Looking! :-)
My biggest project cake so far, 8",10" and 12" round chocolate-vanilla-chocolate cake. HOLLYWOOD-themed cake for a previous co-worker. She was in awe when I delivered this to her party, and it's always a great satisfaction for me every time this happens. I am just happy that my husband supported me all the way for this cake, from air brushing accent (tinted the top and bottom in a golden yellow first), photo-shop, delivery and of course financing this cake! :-) I am looking forward to make more big cake projects like this!
I had a request from my daughter's school to make some flowers cupcakes for their two retiring teachers. I came up with several flower designs for 3 dozens cuppies and must admit it took me long hours to do these since it was also my first time to play with flowers. Thanks for looking!
