First Belly Cake for me and I had a lot of fun using the easy MMF. The dress colors of the dress matched the shower and the ladybug pins matched the nursery.
#6 cake for me and It was for a "its a girl" baby shower. I made the marshmellow fondant with buttercream icing underneath. For I topper I just put the soon to be babies initials!
#5 cake for me. Its my 1st 3D cake and my first time to make my fondant and 2nd time to use it. I am so proud of myself and ready to make my next one. I used the Easy marshmallow recipe that I got from this site and I was very very pleased. Plus is really was easy!! Love fondant! I should have detailed the pod more but the other hosts backed out so I did this cake in a hurry!
My Sons first birthday cake and my cake to ever make! It has a almost sugar free icing made mostly out of whip cream! yumm!
At last minute the fondant I had planned didn't set so by that time I couldn't have fixed the dried butter cream frosting so I dressed it up with some ribbons and pearls. Surprisingly everyone loved it. I guess the taste of the Strawberry cake with butter cream icing made up for it all.
