Chocolate cake with buttercream and piping gel for the water, graham cookie crumbs for the sand. The decorations are made with fondant exept for the umbrella, it's fake :p
My first Valentine's Day cake made in 2011! I wasn't doing anything special for this day, just being cozy with my boyfriend but I still wanted to practice decorating cakes and never did flowers before so I took the occasion to made this cake! It was a vanilla cake, my boyfriend's favorite hehehe with buttercream.
This was made in January 2011 for my boyfriend's grandfather's 81rst birthday! He used to be a fireman and still talks about it now so I decide to make a fire truck =) I took the idea from the net somewhere, I don't remember, but many people did beautiful fire truck cakes! Vanilla cake with buttercream everywhere on the cake, the wheels are oreo cookies, the lights are candies and the decorations are made with fondant.
This is my first decorated cake! I made this in December 2010 for my boyfriend and his best friend 25 years old birthday! They are big fans of Star Wars so I decided to make them out of fondant as chibi characters! It was a simple chocolate cake with buttercream icing, the cake was covered with fondant as well as the decorations were made with fondant.
