I still enjoy peeking at this picture on occasion to see how far I have come, and to get a good laugh. I served it in the pan, because I couldn't get it out and still don't know if I spelled it right or corrected it right. Thank goodness my sister loves me, this was a cake for her "family only" baby shower.
My first attempt at gumpaste flowers. Bottom tier was coconut, top two were sugar-free silver. (I don't know why it didn't occur to me to remove the dead real flowers from behind the picture before I took it. I'm usually brain-dead when I finish a cake and I'm gonna claim that excuse for this one.)
