For my first cake - ever - I decided to try a topsy turvy. Thank heavens I had help from a friend who is far better at this than I am! I carved and stacked the cake myself, and made the MMF. She helped me with covering it. We made the stripes together; I made the hatband, eyes, teeth, tail, diamonds, and fondant balls solo. Unfortunately, the crazy heatwave we're having wasn't so good for the cake. :(
