Autumn's Graduation Cake - Write Out Loud!

Graduation cake for my cousin Autumn. She collects Sharpie's, her nickname is, "The Beast," her fav colour is purple and her favourite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11. The Sharpies are in the shape of the letter A and, there's a little mortar board (cap) on it. This cake had a HUGE learning curve for me, and the design changed 3 times, (at least). It turned out great though and I'm thankful for what I've learned. God worked it ALL out!

For my son's 5th birthday bowling party.

All Star Dreams

This is called "All Star Dreams." I made it for my friend from church, Felicia's baby shower. Everything is from scratch. Bottom layer is what I call Sugar Cinnamon Crunch (vanilla wasc cake with sugar cinnamon filling.) The middle layer is what I call Cherry Cordial (chocolate cake with cherry amaretto filling.) Top layer is vanilla wasc with vanilla buttercream. Everything is covered in marshmallow fondant Figures are also made out of mmf. It was my first wasc cake and my first homemade mmf. I got both recipes from CC and I was inspired by many decorators on CC, in particular HollyPJ. TFL!!

Bowling pins are made of rice treats, base is Scotch Cake with Scotch Cake icing. (Not the liquor, I have no idea why it's called that.), Bowling ball is pound cake baked in a ball form, and everything else is covered in fondant.
