Baby Shower Cake With Teddy Bear Topper
I did this baby shower cake for a good friend of mine. I love the design JaneK did with the bears popping out the lettering and did a similar design (hope you dont mind!) I did the bear topper myself and and as i love Andrea's a sweet cakes i did a similar design to one of her bears. And to be completely honest i put the blanket on the cake as the cake wasnt totally smooth on top (i caught the fondant and ripped it) so i made the bear a lovely blanket to sit on and hide my mistakes ha ha

1St Birthday Boys Cake
This was a 12" cake sponge with jam and BC. The couple didnt know what they wanted to allowed me to do what i wanted. It was supposed to be old toys on the cake i.e spinning top, wooden soldier, wooden blocks and a train which was all gumpaste. I filled the train carriages with silver balls, metalic balls and other types of sprinkles. I did the topper myself again out of gumpaste and used lorraine mckays design from extra icing (i follwed her tutorial its great!!!)

Harry Potter Book/sorting Hat & Snitch
This was for a Harry Potter Fan's 23rd Birthday. They orginally wanted the hogwarts castle giving me only 2 weeks notice i had to decline (as i had other orders) so they let me do whatever i wanted. I decided to do the spell book which was covered in fondant, the snitch was gumpaste. I did do Harry Potters glasses and added tylose but it just would not set hard, so 10 mins before the cake was due for delivery i did a potion bottle and the sorting hat which was just fondant (i didnt even have time to add tylose)

Super Mario Birthday Cake
This was a cake for an adult male who is mad about super mario. As the super mario topper was large i kept the bottom cake simple. I copied the super mario from a lady who puts her cake on flickr (she is amazing) and i am sorry i cant remember her name so just to let you know that is not my design.

Tangled Rapunzel Tower Cake
This cake was 3ft tall. I made the tower using a pipe covered in krispie treats, then covered in royal icing then gumpaste. The hill part was the actual cake. I really enjoyed doing this cake and am so pleased the way it turned out. I'd like to say a big thank you to jennythx who helped me through this with her great advice.

Fireman Sam & Engine
This was a chocolate sponge fireman sam Engine, it was my 1st attempt. I enjoyed doing it but was rushed so am not completely happy with the finish. I had a bit of a disaster with the fondant it ripped at the front right of the engine i tried my best to repair it (but i could still see it) but I was happy with my sam figure. The little boy was over the moon so were his parents with the cake, so i feel a little better, but i know next time what i would change.

1St Attemp At Castle Cake
This is a castle cake for a birthday, i copied it from culpitt website. I took me ages as i am still new to cake decorating but i'm proud and happy with the finished cake. Its sponge with a jam and buttercream filling, covered in fondant. The towers & turrets are gumpaste. As i am not very good with timings i was working on this minutes before it had to be delivered so i missed out on a lot of detail i wanted to put on it. My next one will be completely my own with lots of detail.

Giant Cupcake Birthday Cake
Thank you to miranda1987 i hope you dont mind me doing a similar design to your giant cupcake. Chocolate giant cupcake, covered in fondant. I made a star spray out of the top with the number 7 for the girls birthday but it fell apart!! ha ha so i wrapped the wires around a pen and it actually looked a lot better. Need to practice an awful lot more on the bottom part.
