Moms B-Day Cake

Cake is chocolate with cherry and whipped caramel filling, iced in chocolate and topped with dark chocolate ganache (my mom loves chocolate, could you tell? lol). Shoe and flowers and gumpaste. Threads and label painted with Lucks liqua-gels. Pattern on the shoe is a zebra print from Lucks too. Flowers are also colored with Lucks Liqua-gels (since black and red seem to be the big questions around here).

God Daughter's 1St Bday

I apologize greatly, I can't find the photo or username of the cake that inspired this one, but it was beautiful :( My friend wanted zebra print and hot pink. Bottom is a dummy, 2nd tier was zebra'd vanilla and chocolate cake with a whipped dulce de leche filling on the top tier was zebra'd vanilla and strawberry cake with a whipped vanilla butter cream. Outside is butter cream with fondant decorations. This pic was taken after it arrived at its destination about an hour away. It was a super hot day and it scootched a little on its ride over. :
