My First Rose Cake!
I followed the tutorial from I am Baker. I looked at so many pictures before I attempted this and boy was it a lot harder than what I was thinking. I had an issue with the frosting consistency and the roses kept falling. I had to do a stiff to barely medium consistency to get the roses to stay...my frosting was way to creamy. Other than that, my in-laws loved their surprise cake and I'm going to keep on practicing!

Pikachu Pikachu Pikachu!
This was done for a friend that kept on going back and fourth with what she wanted...She finally decided on some simple cupcakes for her son's birthday. I used a 1M tip for blue and 2D for Yellow, the toppers were purchased for $.22 each. Very simple and quick to make but home-made buttercreme frosting and moist vanilla cake beats grocery store-bought anyday.

My 2Nd Cake
I made this cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday. It was a lot of fun watching it come together and she loved it! The cake size is 12', 8' layered, and a small ball pan filled halfway for the hat. I don't have a steamer so slightly before the party I used the steamer on my iron and made everything very shiny (not shown in this pic). Next time I won't layer the lettering since it didn't come out well..with every cake I hope to improve.
