I Ran Out Of Gas When I Was Finishing The Big Cake The Boat Was Going To Be Made Out Of Fondant But My Fondant Was A Little Too Soft I E
I ran out of gas when I was finishing the big cake. The boat was going to be made out of fondant, but my fondant was a little too soft. I ended up making it out of fabric. I was also going to put some waves along the bottom of the boat. Oh well. It ended up being a fun cake, so I was okay without the extras.

Lego Wonder Woman Cake
This retirement cake was made for an Elementary School Gifted and Talented teacher. She led many Lego, Math and Odyssey of the Mind teams, through her many years of teaching. The Wonder Woman is a symbol of her outstanding ability to do anything for our students. Wonder Woman was sculpted with fondant.

Duck Hunting Retiree
Rick's Retirement Cake. Rick is an Elementary school teacher who recently took a class about duck hunting. I had two cakes to make. I do this for fun. I'm not a professional. The hillbilly hunter is a little figurine. It fit this cake better than any fondant hunter I could have made.

Brookes College Graduation Cake Notice The Little Frog Holding A Diploma Along The Front Corner Brooke Loves Frogs So One Had To Be I
Brooke's College Graduation Cake. Notice the little frog, holding a diploma, along the front corner. Brooke loves frogs, so one had to be included for her big day. You may notice my big goof up. The book was placed upside down. LOL To compensate for this error, we decided that the book presented some symbolism...One book of her life has been completed, and Brooke is now ready to start the next chapter/book of her life. LOL Fortunately, Brooke is a family friend. :-)

This Was A Fun Cake To Make I Made 2 9X13 Inch Cakes And Layered Them So It Was A Bit Thicker Than Sushi Would Really Be All I Wanted
This was a fun cake to make . I made 2 - 9X13 inch cakes and layered them, so it was a bit thicker than sushi would really be. All I wanted was for it to look like sushi, and I think I was successful. Another novice cake that made people smile. What could be more fun? :-)

Superhero Baby Shower
Keep in mind that I am not a professional, but I have a great time creating fun cakes. Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of the entire cake before the humidity set in. Around the bottom layer, there were four superhero emblems. Superman, Batman, Captain America, and The Green Lantern. The Batman emblem was the softest and least impressive. This cake had issues, but it was really fun and fit nicely with our Superhero Baby Shower. I hope it helps you with some ideas. :-)

Baby Shower Cake
I made this fun cake for my daughter-in-law's baby shower. She has a horse, so I chose to decorate with some pony cutouts. It was my first time making and using fondant. I used rice krispies to form the legs. It made the legs easy to form, but it also made them look like they had celulite. LOL
