This cake was made for friends of mine who's wedding I attended all those years ago!! The 2 larger photos where supplied by my friend, but I managed to dig out some of my old photos to scan and print for the 3 smaller ones. The flower was based on a magnolia, my first attempt at this type of flower. :) x

This is another version of a similar cake I've made previously but with additional peonies this time. The topper comprised of 3 largish peonies and 3 roses with rosebuds and hydrangeas as filler flowers. Tiers comprised of lemon, chocolate and vanilla cakes. :) xx

This was my first attempt at stencilling with royal icing, not perfect but we all learn by our mistakes!! I was very pleased with the overall result though, makes a very simple but elegant cake. xx

Lilac and green wedding cupcakes
This is an ivory cake with fondant bow on top and silk flowers.
3 tier ruffled cake tinted with petal dust and lustre dust to tone in with the silk flowers. The design in inspired and based on the ruffled cakes by Maggie Austin. :)
This is a 3 tier version of a hat box cake I've made several times already. Was very pleased with the result as a stacked cake.
Have been dying to try and make one of these cakes for ages. Would probably do the ruffles a bit differently next time, but I am pretty happy with the result. Quite time consuming though!!! xxx
