I made an old school NES controller cake for one of my friend's 30th birthday.
Some cupcakes I made at Christmas. Iced with homemade buttercream icing
This was my first attempt at something this big, and I think it turned out pretty well. Everything is edible. The bottom half is a bundt cake, middle is a ball cake, and the head is rice cereal treats, candy for the accessories and left over cake for the brim of the hat and rice cereal treat for the middle part and all iced with buttercream frosting.
I made a cupcake cake for our Canada Day party tomorrow. Decided to go with a team Canada jersey and I decorated the extra cupcakes I had left.
