Six layers of German chocolate cake made with Guiness beer, filled with coconut pecans frosting and ganached with a rum chocolate. Covered in fondant. I handpainted the lines on the mug. Handle is gumpaste and froth is buttercream. There is a dowel rod in the beer can connecting it to the cake.

This was my first attempt at the pillow. I didn't use the pillow pans, I just carved it myself. I should have carved it more so the corners weren't so sharp, but I still liked the end product. I quilted the pillow with a sewing tool. Princesses are from a toy set.

The backboard was made to look like ESPN logo. I handcut the Cardinal bird. The net did not turn out like I wanted it to. I made it from a weird recipe I found and traced the pattern on wax paper before laying it on the ball. It was like a gummy worm- I wouldn't recommend it!

Gumpaste dog tags and grenade. Fondant covered helmet and camoflauge spots. I ran out of white buttercream and tried using some mixed with piping gel for the US Army logo. It didn't turn out as well as I would have liked.
