Frog 30Th Anniversary Cake
My aunt loves frogs, so here's what I came up with to celebrate her and my uncle's 30th anniversary. The figures are fondant, the cattails are fondant on spaghetti, and cake is Double Salted Caramel. My only regret on this cake is that I was getting rushed near the end, and my letters ended up a little off center. But all's well that ends well, right?

Double Baby Shower Cakes!
The one with the ladybug is a Italian Coconut Cream Cake with toasted coconut and coconut/pecan cream cheese filling. The one with the monkey is a chocolate chocolate chip cake with vanilla IMBC. Both are covered in Michele Foster's Fondant, and I painted the images onto fondant with my Americolors and vanilla extract.

Christening Cake
I made this for my second cousin's christening, and loved the way it turned out. The bottom tier was chocolate chocolate chip cake, and the top tier was vanilla bean. Both were filled with a Strawberry Italian Meringue Buttercream and diced strawberries, and then coated in Vanilla Italian Meringue Buttercream and Michele Foster's Fondant. The blocks are made out of cream cheese pound cake, with fondant squares/letters and royal icing piping. VERY yummy!

Luau Birthday Cake
I made this real simple - my first topsy-turvy cake. The bottom tier and the island are a vanilla bean cake, the middle tier is chocolate cake, and all have a strawberry mousse filling. I covered the cake in Italian Buttercream, then Michele Foster's Fondant. The flowers, flip flops, and palm tree are all gum paste, and I made seashell shaped chocolates around the "water" tier.
