Star Wars Lego Cake
This Star Wars Lego cake was for a little boys 6th birthday. The mother asked for a small two tier cake that had Star Wars Legos on it. I found this Lego set (had my husband assemble it) then coordinated the color scheme from it. This is a white cake with buttercream icing, covered in fondant. The Star Wars logo was cut out by hand. The top tier says "Nick is 6".

This is my first two tier cake, and for a large crowd of people too. The top tier is 10 inch chocolate cake with buttercream icing covered in blue fondant with white stars. The bottom tier is 14 inch white cake in three layers, red, white and blue; covered in buttercream icing and red and white striped fondant decorations.

Retirement Cake Beer Bottle
This cake is a retirement cake for my father in law, It is shaped like a beer bottle because as soon as he retired he went out and bought himself a kit to start making his own beer. It is a triple chocolate cake with chocolate icing, covered in chocolate fondant. The neck of the beer bottle is made of rice crispy treats. I used WAY too much icing on this cake and it was very rich. The beer label is Wilton Sugar Paper and edible color pens.

Superhero Cake
This cake was for a little boy's 3rd birthday. This is a strawberry cake with buttercream icing, covered and decorated in fondant. There are various superhero symbols on the cake, including The Hulk, IronMan, and Captain America. The Hulk fist pictured is made from fondant and was very heavy on the side of the cake!

Pink And Orange Race Car
This is a milk chocolate cake with buttercream icing, and fondant covering and decorations. The tires are made of rice crispy treats (I am not happy with the tires because I ran out of time to smooth them out with icing before covering them with the black fondant - so they are bumpy looking). This cake was for a little girls 4th birthday, which is why I added pink accents to the car.
