How To Train Your Dragon
Made for my son Eliots 8th birthday! The character of Hiccup is modeled on both Hiccup and my son Eliot to combine their features. Dragon and Hiccup/Eliot sculpted from 50/50 gumpaste/fondant. Cake is pina colada cake with coconut pineapple buttercream, pineapple upside down filling and white chocolate ganache.

Talias Dream 13Th Birthday Cake
I received my first Icing Smiles call to action to create a dream cake for a little girls 13th birthday. Talia Castellano is a young lady battling neuroblastoma for 6 years who just a week or so ago found out she also has pre leukemia (cancer in her bone marrow). She is currently deciding if she wants to go through with a risky and painful bone marrow transplant or live the rest of her time in peace. She is a YouTube make up tutorial series creator, video blogger and media sensation sharing make up skills along with her battle against cancer with millions of viewers and her party was quite high profile. When this young lady walks into a room the air changes and you get chills from the joy she radiates. She is something truly unique and special under the sun and it was an honor to be part of her world.

True Loves First Kiss
I was so very honored to be asked to create a cake for Cake Central Magazines July 2012 issue. Never did I imagine the cake I created would be selected for the cover of the magazine! This is without a doubt the highlight of my cake career to date. This cake design captures my favorite things so far within my 1st year of cake design- pink and teal have been my personal favorite color combo since the beginning and sugar flowers are my passion! Ferrari Birthday!
My husbands Ferrari themed Birthday cake! This is two tiers carved into the shape of the Ferrari logo with the stallion hand piped in royal icing on top and the scuderia ferrari initials changed to be my husbands initials. Cakes are chocolate with ganache and chocolate with fleur de sel caramel swiss meringue buttercream.
