The bouquet is made of lemon cupcakes with lemon icing and the small cake is three layer chocolate cake with chocolate icing inside and lemon icing on the outside. This was my first cupcake bouquet and I had a lot of fun with it. I made it for my Grandma and she loved it (I was so glad!) I will definitely be making more of these! Very simple and SO pretty.
Chocolate cake with whipped marshmallow icing and homemade marshmallow fondant. Filing is whipped marshmallow in the shape of a heart. The Birthday girl's favorite color is purple (incase you couldn't tell) I also made Chocolate cake pops and chocolate dipped pretzels, also in purple. The ruffles took a while to do but it was a lot of fun and I love the way it turned out. Thank you to CC'er ChrisJack1 for the idea and tutorial!
My version of Angry Birds. This was for my brother's birthday. All decorations modeled out of fondant or gumpaste. I also bought him a real slingshot for his birthday and let him shoot down his cake. I have never had so much fun watching someone destroy a weeks work in 5 minutes. :)
Birthday present for my friend who LOVES double stuff Oreos and polka dots. I got the idea and recipe from the wonderful Bakerella.
This is my 18th birthday cake. Fondant and gumpaste roses, leaves, butterflies, bird, and nest. Brush embroidered flowers on the sides. I also made cake pops to match. This was my first attempt at making cake pops and while they turned out fine (and yummy) there are definitely things I will do differently next time.
The color theme for my party was pink and orange (obviously). The top tier should have looked more like a vase but oh well. I got the idea from someone here on CC so Thank You! I also made mini cupcakes with matching flowers and a sheet cake for serving. Flowers are made out of gumpaste. Tier cake was red velvet, mini cupcakes and sheet cake were half white half chocolate.
Graduation cake for a beach/Hawaiian themed grad party. I made the sandcastle but the blue sheet cake was purchased by the family. I also made the sand dollar cookies on the dessert table

Birthday cake for a friend of mine who loves superheroes. Her name is Tiffany, hence the super 'T' symbol instead of an 'S'. This was the first time I had ever used fondant. Man did I have a lot to learn!
Birthday cake for my big brother who loves tattoos. I used a paint brush and pencil for the 'crossbones' because he is an amazing artist. Pleased to say that he loved it :)

The big square cake was for a class. The rest I added to it to look like a bunch of birthday presents. She was turning 13 and just allowed to use makeup, so I made the one in front to look like she unwrapped a makeup case.
