Trooper Hat Birthday Cake
I made this cake for a friend of mine. I originally covered the hat in fondant, but it cracked and tore and looked awful. So after a brief nervous breakdown, lol, I decided to try to salvage it and use buttercream to cover it in stars. When all was said and done, it turned out alright. My friend was very happy with it and that was all that mattered!

Little Monster Cake
This cake was for my nephew's 1st Birthday. I saw this in the Wilton 2011 Yearbook and thought it was adorable. My sister in law requested it, and I was excited when she did because I really wanted to make this cake! This is probably one of my favorites to date :-) Covered in icing with fondant accents

Cowboy Hat Cake
First ever attempt at carving a cake......the carving went pretty well, but covering it in fondant however was a disaster!!! Normally, I would just post the pic that looks the best, but in hopes that someone can give me advice, I'm gonna show the flaws :-S..... Here is what happened, when I covered the top part of the hat with fondant, it began to crack and tear......I then tried to patch it with thin thin layers of fondant and water, which of course still looked bad....luckily when I painted the hat it made it look less noticeable, but I still wasn't satisfied with the finished product :( HELP PLEASE!!!!

Toy Story Birthday
This was my first cake i ever decorated and my first time working with fondant. This was for twin boys' 2nd birthday. They are Toy Story fanatics! Cakes are covered in fondant with fondant accents/ decorations with BC in between cake layers. "Woody" cake is chocolate and "Buzz" cake is white. I bought the "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" and "2" candles at Walmart because I've not experimented in making these yet and actually had no clue where to start! This cake was massive and took a total of 11 boxes of cake mix for the entire thing! It was so fun to make, and after this I think I may try some more in the near future! :-)
