This was my first proper cake I made for Norwich Fashion Week. The theme was fashion of the 1970's and so I based the design around a BIBA print I had seen. It was a success (thankfully!)
My second professional-type (but not really!) cake 'made to order' for a friend. The recipient is a storyteller and his most recent work was telling the story of George and the Dragon to young children. I made the dragon and other bits out of sugarpaste and painted them with colour pastes.
This was the first ever proper cake I made for someone else who wasn'ta family member. I was generally pleased with the finished product (and thankfully, so was the recipient!)
