My own birthday cake in an 80s rock styling. Bottom tier has flower paste flames which were also painted silver, middle tier is a sugarpaste zebra stripe cake and top tier has flowerpaste guitar, numbers, music notes and tattoo scroll style banner. Skulls are made from white choc (tempered and made myself)
This was my first attempt at a car cake with no prior knowledge on how to even make a car cake. Was for my Grandad's 80th Birthday (hence the BOB80 numberplate haha) The mirrors are on the wings instead of the doors too because thats how it was 'in the old days' lol
This was on a 5 week Royal Icing course (25 hours in total) and included coating cake and board in royal icing, piped edge work, Runouts and Collar work, lace and panel work and also piped flowers. All of this was my first time doing any piping....at all....so what you see above is my very first royal icing attempt

This is a surprise birthday cake for my dad. Scene is him fishing with a duck laughing at him because he has caught an old boot. This is only my second attempt at figure modelling so its a little messy. Having a tiny kitchen doesn't help either lol. Cake itself is a rich fruit
