buzz was made from sugarpaste and the rest was chocolate cake. Since buzz was a little 'big', i had to support him with the rocket at the back.

I made the lemurs & penguins from sugarpaste a couple of days earlier. The rest are cake. Melman (giraffe) actually collapsed twice when i was moving the cake (although i had secured the pillars to the cake board), so i gave up at the end and placed him on his tummy. I did manage to get this shot first. Its all a little messy...i used the satnd up lamb for Alex the lion's head & body, and the rest of it for Melman. Gloria (hippo) was the ball tin. Marty (zebra) was the train tin, shaven off here and there.
