Mlb New York Yankees Birthday Cake
So this is the seventh cake I have ever made and I think it is my favorite so far. It was made for my cousins boyfriend, Chris who was turning 33 (hence the number on the back of the hat). The round part of the hat is made of cake and the bill is cardboard covered in fondant. The baseball is made of Rice Krispie Treats and covered in fondant. It was super hot the day of his party and I found out that it did not take the heat so well in transport. (My other cousin picked it up at my house and had the cake delivery job!) So I guess the fondant had started sagging and sliding down the sides... Everyone still said it looked and tasted very good though. I will just call this the BEFORE picture.

8Th Birthday Cake For Grace
I made this for my 8 year old cousin, Grace. She loves bright colors, tie dye and peace signs. Everything turned out OK for the most part, but on the left side of the cake the fondant buckled, for lack of a better word, right around the large purple flower on the bottom tier. It seemed as though the fondant quick sticking to the buttercream underneath and started to sag/crack/buckle under the weight of the other decorations. It is not super visable, but I know it is there so it bothers me. haha! :)

Pink And Yellow Baby Shower Cake
This is a dummy cake made for decoration at a baby shower for Baby Shelby. This was my first time working with styrofoam and found that it was very unforgiving when it came to imperfections. Still, my friend was super excited about the fake cake and everyone at the shower seemed to like it. The S topper seemed to sag a little, I'll have to work on that for next time.

Pink & Brown Zebra Print Cakes
This is the third special occassion cake I have ever made. This one is for a little girl named KAMBRI for her third birthday. The cakes were made to match her birthday outfit. The two-tiered cake is covered in white fondant accented with brown fondant zebra stripes and pink fondant ribbons. The K on top is made of fondant as well. The smaller cake is the Smash Cake. It is covered in vanilla buttercream accented with pink fondant zebra stripes and a brown fondant ribbon. The 3 on this cake is also made of fondant. I had fun doing these cakes and they turned out really well. The little birthday girl and mom were very happy! :) THANKS FOR LOOKING!!

Jungle Party Cake - 1St Birthday - Kyler
This is the first cake I've ever done, short of baking a cake in a 9 x 13 pan, frosting it and singing Happy Birthday. I got roped into this by my friend for her sons first birthday. She seemed to think I could do it, so I gave it a shot. I did some YouTube tutoring ... watched some videos to see how it was supposed to be done and just kind of went from there. I cannot take credit for the elephant and zebra topper (both made of fondant), my friend purchased those from a seller on Etsy.com. Otherwise, everything else I made myself. I used Satin Ice vanilla fondant and tinted the colors to match the jungle party / polka dot theme. I also used Wilton pre-packaged fondant for the black and brown (on the stacked cakes). The smaller smash cake was covered in chocolate buttercream then smoothed and colored fondant dots were embedded in the buttercream. I reallly had a fun time doing this and got a few cake orders from people just at the party.
