Everything on this cake was edible except butterflies. It came out GREAT for a rookie! I was proud! Hopefully I can add a picture of the top of the cake also.
This came out sloppier than I wanted due to time constraints, but the birthday girl and kids LOVED it! I still love the concept and hope to get another try some day. Everything was edible except wires.

This was my second attempt at this cake. I used the Wilton castle kit and pre-made flowers because I was too chicken to try fondant flowers on my own. My daughter and her friends LOVED LOVED LOVED this cake!!!!!
I made this cake for a teen's birthday who loved butterflies. The butterflies came from a craft store, but everything else is edible. This was my first attempt at fondant pieces and flowers. I was hooked! They were sooooo easy to make!
This was my first attempt at a fondant bow and strawberry filling. The cake turned out awesome in person! The bottom layer was spice cake with cream cheese filling. The top layer was devil's food chocolate with a fresh strawberry filling. It tasted very good and looked almost too pretty to eat...at least the birthday man though so! :) I also tinted all the fondant (my first time to not use pre-tinted).
This was thrown together quick for family, but it turned out cute. I would most definitely choose something different for the shamrock stems! The glittery shams and leprechaun were purchased at the craft store.
My daughter loves green monkeys which are very hard to find. I designed this monkey myself. I also made green monkey cupcakes to accompany the cake. HUGE hit!
These were made to accompany a cake for a child's birthday. I kept it simple with a box mix cake and tinted cream cheese icing. The ears are made from candy melts.
