Groom's cake for my uncle! He and my new aunt are huge Tony Stewart fans. Decals made by taking a photo of my uncle's diecast car and printing on edible paper. Car is complete with a gum paste Just Married sign and Bud Lite beer cans tied to the back. Comments are greatly appreciated!

Teal Tropical Cake
Bridal Shower cake using the couple's honeymoon destination as a theme- St. Lucia! The couple wanted something clean and simple but fun. The plumeria flowers were made using the 5 petal blossom cutter press set from Global Sugar Arts. The sand was made from crushed graham crackers and brown sugar, which helped it stay where I wanted it to! Please PM me for any questions about technique and comments are greatly appreciated.

Tinkerbell 3D Birthday Cake
My coworker wanted a Tinkerbell cake for her daughter's birthday! This was my first cake using the Wilton Wonder Mold cake pan. It took a couple tries and I realized how important the Wilton cake release is! I used a Tinkerbell ballerina doll but the bodice is fondant. The leaves are made from gum paste and fondant mix and the PME rose leaf plunger set. Flowers were made using the Wilton Button Flower Fondant Press Set. PM me with any questions about techniques, and comments are very appreciated!

Stacked Book And Cap Grad Cake
Stacked books covered in fondant, graduation cap made from 1/2 of the Wilton Sports Ball cake pan. Square top to the grad cap made from gum paste (made about a week early to let it dry HARD). Tassel was made by using an extruder. Just a tip- the Fondarific brand fondant does not dry hard enough for the top of the grad cap. I made a square from regular white gum paste and then covered the hardened square in the black Fondarific fondant. :) PM me with any questions about techniques! Comments appreciated!

Emma Polka Dot Baby Shower Cake
Pink and purple polka dot baby shower cake. The hostess of the party brought me ribbons she was using to decorate for the party and asked me for pink, purple, and lots of sparkle and bling! The white polka dots are painted with a pearl disco dust. The sugar ribbons were painted with edible glue and then sprinkled with pink edible sanding sugar and silver dragee accents. I'm not totally happy with the top bow- it doesn't look real natural like I wanted it to, but this was my first attempt at fondant bows.

Golf Enthusiast Birthday Cake
Golf-theme cake for my friend's 16-year-old son. Finally mastered the sports ball cake pan and covering it in fondant! It helps to mix a little gum paste in the fondant and make it thicker than normal. I used the ball gum paste tool to make the golf ball dimples (put more buttercream on the cake than normal to give room for the dimples). My friend invited more people to the birthday party just to see the cake, so the day before the party she asked if I could make more servings. Ack! I ended up just adding the bottom tier and making the argyle pattern.

1920's Theme Baroque Birthday Cake
90th birthday cake for husband & wife- 1920's theme. I used black fondarific fondant (YUM!) and the Stephen Benison Triple Leaf Scroll cutters plus a scroll cutter set at my local cake craft store. The feather topper is made from real feathers that I wrapped in floral tape and put a gum paste base around it so I can re-use it. The brooch was entirely edible and made from silver and pearl dragees. Edible diamonds and dragees accent the red fondant ribbon.

Birdhouse Mother's Day Cake
My mom adores birdhouses and the color green. I saw a cake made by Julie Smith from Fatty Cakes and Bakes in Long Island NY and replicated it for my mom. It's been my mom's favorite cake of mine so far! She even kept the gumpaste birdhouse, flowers and birds in her china hutch! My first attempt at fondant crimping- so much fun! I used Global Sugar Art's 5 petal blossom press set- one of my best purchases EVER. You can even put smaller gum paste flowers in the press and they turn out so pretty.

Ethan Baby Boy Onesie Shower Cake
3-tiered baby shower cake for little boy. The invitation was a cute blue onesie and the mom-to-be wanted the colors to be blue, green and brown. My first attempt at a poofy gumpaste bow! I found this awesome ribbon cake stand and was lucky enough to find polka dot ribbon to match the colors of the cake!
