Pool Table Grooms Cake
This was my first attempt at a pool table cake... My husband made the stand. Edited: Several people have asked how I get the shiney look. It's a trick I learned at a cake club meeting. After your fondant hardens, brush a thin coat of vegetable oil over it. The fondant will absorb the the oil, and it does not affect the flavor. Thanks for the compliments! I love doing wood grain stuff!

Monster Truck Cake
Here is a "Gravedigger" cake I did for a birthday this weekend. I took pictures as I went, so if anyone is interested I can post them, or a tutorial. The tires are RKT, and the base is a sheetcake with a covered styrofoam block with the truck sitting on it... everything else is cake.

Avengers Element Cake
This the cake I did for my son's 9th birthday. He loves the Avengers... especially Captain America. This was what he picked out for his birthday... I know some details aren't exact, but after a solid week of running VBS and work, it's the best I could do...lol. The top of the hammer and the shield are cake, and the handle of the hammer and a.r.c. are rkt's.... the pebbles and stones are just fondant

Crawfish Boil Cake
This was a cake done for a 1 year olds birthday. The "chimney" is chocolate fondant and RKT, the rest is cake, and fondant. The corn cobs were made from large marshmellows cut in half and dotted with yellow buttercream. I lightly dusted it all with cocoa powder to look like the spices. The potatoes are made of choc/white fondant.
