A cake I did for my mom who is a Reese's fanatic. Saw something similar on another website. The Reese's package was chocolate cake with white buttercream. The peanut butter cup was peanut butter cake with chocolate buttercream icing and fondant. Still a newbie and learning!
I made this 2 tier (8" and 10") cake for Mother's Day for my purple fanatic mom! I'm still a newbie, so I get to experiment a bit on family!
I did this 9" 2 layer round with yellow cake and a caramel cheescake filling. Iced in purple buttercream, and fondant decorations. The only thing not edible was the coffee stirrer straws used to hold the fondant balls on top. The coffee stirrers fit the candles that matched the cake perfectly! This is the first cake I've done for someone other than family.
