Vintage Hollywood themed cake. Simple, elegant and some fabulous flair! :)

I had a REALLY hard time with this one....I couldn't get the poles straight . I finally cut them so that they barely went into the cake and tried to cover up the holes with frosting. The horses are hand painted and at least those turned out nicely. :)
The bride I did this for knew WXACTLY what she wanted and how she wanted it. IT WAS GREAT! I wasn't sure how the colors would look together, but it turned out nicely. :)
I did this cake for a friend's soon to be husband. She supplied the figures (except for the mushrooms, I made those) and I did the rest. I painted the fondant cut outs. I found actual scenes from the video game and re created them.
I has some lefft over cake batter so I made a tiny 3" round cake for my daughter. She LOVES fairies. This was the first time I've tried to make a character from fondant/gumpaste.
The "Margarita" is made from jello. I made clear jello for "ice cubes" and poured cold green jello over it and let it set. The rest of the cake is covered only in frosting. It took me a while to get it smooth and to do the deatils and smooth it again.....
I got the idea for this when I googled "number cakes"....
I did this cake for a 3rd birthday.
I did this cake for the owner of a Tavern here in Michigan.
Everything is handpainted and edible! the CDs and the makeup are made from gumpaste.
I did this cake for a 10yr old girl's birthday.
My first attempt at a food cake....I wish I had an airbrush, but overall I don't think it's too bad....
