This Is An Awesome Collage That The Photographer Pixbybre Who I Traded Services With Made Of My Sweets For Her Sons 1St Birthday The Top
This is an awesome collage that the photographer, PixByBre, who I traded services with made of my sweets for her son's 1st birthday. The top left is the main cake, made to look like a Cheerios box, with real cheerios and strawberry slices attached with buttercream, below that is his smash cake, just iced like a cheerio wasn't enough I didn't think, so I covered it in real Cheerios, since he loves these things, obviously! Bottom right are the cakepops, some honey bees, red #1s and cheerios shaped pops. You can also see in the bottom left the full cake, with the hungry caterpillar chewing a hole in the box (which was not our original idea, but the customer saw it on another cake and loved it).

I carved the M from a square cake that I dyed the batter golden Michigan yellow (surprise when you cut the cake), covered it in Navy blue tinted buttercream and smoothed it all real nice. Took FOREVER to clean up the Navy buttercream from the board around the cake (soliciting advice on how to eliminate that step). I made the banner out of fondant.
