Customer wanted rainbow roses made to mimic the ones her husband had bought her. I made it a rainbow cake inside as well for fun. I haven't seen any rainbow roses made so I thought these turned out pretty good. Also my first time making gumpaste roses and draping. TFL!

Made this for my birthday today. It was an experimental cake where many of the accents and the stacking were firsts for me :) It was fun! But I learned lots to change for next time. 1st tier is vanilla cake with chocolate ganche, vanilla buttercream and strawberry fondant. 2nd tier is lemon cake with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream and lemon fondant. White chocolate cameo and gumpaste and fondant accents. thanks for looking!
A buttercream cake with fondant and gumpaste accents. Sack boy was made with modeling chocolate and the badges were made with gumpaste and my first attempt at painting with gel colours. Definitely worked out some kinks with this one, but my friend loved it.
