the girl wanted her 3 favorite things (Frog, giraffe and butterfly) all in one cake...so I came up with this... The cake is 14 inch rounds on bottom and 9 inch on top. I off set the top tier. Then covered in home made fondant and decorated with all Edible Items. The giraffe and frog are half fondant and half gum paste.
Toy Story Cake that I made for a child's 1st Birthday. 3 tier (14-9-6 inch rounds) yellow cake with cookies n' cream filling ( a crowd hit)! All my fondant and gum paste is made from scratch. the cake are covered in fondant and hit with a shiny finish. I then added the characters that are made from a mixture of fondant and gum paste. the Wood grain floor that the cake is sitting on is also made from fondant, rolled can cut, the a stick tool in order to get wood effect and then pained with brown food color
This was done for a friend that was going to go visit O'ahu Island again. Everything on the cake Is Edible. the cake is a basic vanilla sponge cake with almond butter cream frosting. The trees, Tiki mask and valcano are sculpted with RKT then covered in home made fondant. Used piping gel that i tented blue to make the water. Nothing fancy and not my better work...But it will have to do
First try working with new material.... Bottom layer is vanilla cake with cookies N' Cream filling, and the top clover is yellow cake with chocolate hazelnut filling. Everything on this cake is edible
