Map Of Australia Goodbye Cake
My sister was moving away to Australia and I wanted to make her a cake as part of her goodbye party. Unfortunately I was riculously busy and didn't have a lot of time..however, I quickly ganached a cake, with the outline of Australia and a little red fondant dot for Adelaide where she was moving too.

Spaghetti And Meatballs With A Side Of Garlic Bread Cake
Chocolate cake with raspberry mousse filling. Noodles are white chocolate buttercream. Oregano is diced mint. Sauce is fresh raspberries, strawberry jam, white chocolate, and buttercream. Meatballs are ferrero roches, dipped in chocolate so you don't see the nuts...in hindsight I should have just made cakeball meatballs with the cake remnants! However Ferrero's are my favorite..White chocolate for parmesean. Garlic bread is angel food cake broiled in oven, with butter cream spread on top while still hot...

Chocolate Panels
Chocolate cake with hand made chocolate panels. Stars are created from chocolate transfer sheets. Got this idea from Melissa at MyCakeSchool. Wanted a prettier design for the panels, but the cake supply store had limited inventory at this time...Cake is covered in ganache and then I applied the panels. Very chocolatey and rich cake!

Mack Truck Cake
Mack Truck made for Mack Truck's 10th Anniversary for the owners in the City where I live. Length of trailer, cab etc was 22" long. Height, including support dowels/axles was approx 8". Took 5 cake batters to make. Cake weighed 21.5lbs. Wish I'd done a few more details, but I'd spent quite a bit of time on it already, so decided to leave well enough alone. Thank you so much to Madkat, ChefRoberto, Cookiecutters, Kitagirl and Susanscakecreations for their inspiration and advice!

Farmer Flav And His Chickens
My friend's husband's 50th birthday cake. He absolutely adores his 4 egg-laying chickens...so this is what came to me for a design :-) The sheet cake on the bottom is actually from Costco..they must not use real butter, as man it was next to impossible to add icing ("grass") and "dirt" to this cake as their icing was so soft and melting like crazy. Anyway...did what I could and as you can clearly see...writting on cakes is NOT my forte! I must get better at that!! Wooden barrel is a chocolate cake. Chicken coop is cereal treats covered in fondant. Hay is coconut, all decorations are fondant. Guy in barrel is made entirelly out of fondant. Sign says "Hollycock Farms" (a private joke). Steaming cup of coffee beside him, as he always sits out with a coffee when he checks on his chickens. Also I kept forgetting to add all the details I'd made earlier (i.e. his black socks...put them on and snapped one final photo. Totally forgot the little chicken eggs and added them much later so they don't show in these pictures... Fun cake to make though, just from the pure concept. :-)

Decadent Ice Cream Sundae Cake
"Ice cream" is a french vanilla cake, filled with raspberry buttercream and covered in french vanilla buttercream icing. "Waffle bowl" is a chocolate cake, filled with raspberry buttercream, and covered in chocolate ganache and then fondant. Fondant bananas and spoons (spoons have each party-goes name on them - a brilliant idea inspired by jcstefanic's cake). Real whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate ganache fudge topping, and of course a cherry on top! And don't forget to serve with a side of real ice cream!
