Camping Theme Cake

For a little boy named Timber who was turning 6. His mom did not want the traditional "Happy 6th Birthday Timber" on it, hence the sign. All of the items on the cake were made from gumpaste and gumpaste/fondant mix. Such a fun cake!

Drum Cake

The cutest 3 year old ever told his mom he wanted a drum cake for his b-day party. He also requested lemon cake (which his parents can't figure out how he even knows about lemon cake) I think this is the most fun cake I've ever made!

Sweet 16 cake for my niece. It wasn't until I started cutting the cake that I realized I forgot to dot the i in birthday. DUH!

Soft Taco Cake

This is one of my first ever cakes. My youngest son wanted a Taco Tico birthday so I made soft taco cakes for his party. They were made with chocolate cake inside frosted with chocolate buttercream and coated with crumbled oreos for "meat. The "tortillas" are fondant, and the "cheese", "onions" and "lettuce" are made out of rolled out gum drops. It was a lot of work but a lot of fun! A lot of people, at first glance, thought they were really giant soft tacos! LOL

Leopard Birthday Cake
