3 tiered Dr. Seuss topsy turvy cake. The bottom layer was red velvet with cherry filling and cream cheese buttercream frosting, decorated with One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. The middle Green Eggs and Ham tier was green cake with key lime buttercream. The top tier was The Lorax and chocolate cake with mint buttercream. The topper was the Cat in the Hat made out of gum paste. All the characters were cut out with an exacto knife and drawn in with food coloring markers.
First-time topsy turvy, and it was a lot of fun! Good learning experience, to say the least. :)

We used an old school Wilton dinosaur pan for this one! Bottom and top cakes are covered in fondant, decorations all fondant, too. Both cakes are chocolate with chocolate buttercream.
