I made this cake for my friend's sister's bridal shower. It was a chocolate chip cake filled with vanilla buttercream and covered in vanilla buttercream. I made the initials out of candy melts that I just wrote out. I made all off the roses out of buttercream.
Made this cake yesterday for my friend's daughter's 3rd birthday party. It was my first cake using homemade mmf and my first cake where everything is homemade :) I think it turned out wonderful. It has a vanilla/ almond cake filled with a strawberry cream filling and covered in vanilla/almond buttercream. I'm not professional by any means, and just a stay at home mom, but I received so many compliments yesterday I'm thinking of getting myself a part time job at a bakery :)
