I was asked to make these for a Buddhist organization. Their organization colors were red, yellow and blue. I was given a picture of the star to replicate. I made the cupcake wrappers and added a bow.
I have to give credit to Tootalldesigns for this idea. I was so inspired by the cake they made, I had to make it for my husband for his birthday. everything on the cake is done in fondant. The white circles on the black part of the cake have finger prints on them in black food coloring. Thank you very much for the idea Tootalldesigns...my husband loved it!

This cake was for me nieces Golden 8th Birthday. She is a big fan of the Pinkalicious book series and wanted a cake with the three girls on it and each tier being a different color. The unicorn and the girls faces were done in fondant. The skirts on the dolls are tule material that I sewed. Each tier is covered in fondant and then brushed with gold, orchid and rose luster dust & vanilla. The cake was then covered in gum paste flowers.
