My client saw a cake by Dreamday cakes on Google and wanted something similar and this is what I can up with. It is covered with Duffs fondant,
Walnut mocha cake with penuche frosting, covered with fondant. Pearl dust was used on the dragonfly to give it shimmer and the leaves were glossed with water.
Used a new fondant that was made at home because am not happy with the taste of store bought. This tastes much better but was pretty hard to work with when covering the cat. Also, had the vision of the yarn trailing down to spell her name and did not give up, but next time would use buttercream. Hope my little client likes it!
Two layer fudge cake with whipped chocolate filling and fudge icing. Tried the Viva technique with the icing and was not entirely successful, but overall happy with the new fondant I tried. (also, this cake was inspired by one I saw on Google images)

Made for a group beach birthday celebration. The cake was vanilla and the swirl/water pattern in the fondant was made by not mixing the coloring in completely.
This was made for a group baby shower. The design was inspired by the gift bags. Was in a rush and hand lettered the sentiment, which did not come out as neat as I'd like.
