Made With Love
A chocolate mudcake covered with fondant made for my mum who is nearly 87 for Mothers Day. She loves flowers so made a variety with gumpaste. Flowers dusted with petal dust to give a slight glitter. Piped edge on the bottom. Need more practice, but still happy with the end result. TFL

To Mum With Love
Made this for my mother -in -law, she loves flowers so I thought that she would like a cake, which would also last longer than fresh flowers. It is a rich fruit cake with marzipan & fondant. Gumpaste flowers and my first try at piping. Need more practice, but happy with the end result anyway. TFL

My Sweet Princess "tae"
Princess Castle Cake, Buttercake covered in fondant, with decorations made in both fondant and gumpaste. The only thing I didn't make was the "Princess". Otherwise all edible. Made for my daughters 4th birthday. Thought it would be a quick cake but from start to finish I probably put in 6 hours. As long as she smiles tomorrow that's all i care. Got some of my ideas from other cakes on cc. TFL

"gonefishing" Birthday Cake
This cake was made for a friends grandson who was turning 2. It was a Butter cake with butter icing. The decorations were made of fondant. The only things that were not edible was the fishing rod and the spaghetti which was part of the reed-flowers. A picture was emailed to me of the basic idea that she wanted and I just added extras like the ladybugs, snails, used a fish (instead of a boot). Fun to make and it was well liked by everyone. I was pretty happy as this is my first attempt at fondant decorations.
