Birthday cake for my twins. Had a horrible time controlling the humidity in my home that day and it wrecked havoc on everything. Very unhappy with this cake but the kids loved it! Tree is rice krispies covered in modeling chocolate. Gumpaste and fondant accents.
Made for my twins' birthday a few years back. Was my first foray into the world of gumpaste. Cake was alternating layers of chocolate and vanilla with vanilla buttercream. Gumpaste accent pieces. My first attempt at Remy came out WAY better but met an unfortunate end after something fell ON it.
3rd birthday cake made for my son. Gumpaste and fondant accents. Cake is iced in faux fondant. Was a chocolate cake with whipped cream and straberries inside. I bought Duff's rock star gumpaste accents but was sorely disappointed when i opened the package. I only used the flame and top of the guitar. Made the rest myself.
