This cake was inspired by natskys version. Thanks for sharing it. A thick layer of buttercream under a thick layer of mmf allow me to add the stiches and deep grooves without cutting through the fondant. Thanks for looking.

Basketball jersey and ball birthday cake. Parquet floor done with mmf strips then glazed with corn syrup and vodka mix brushed on to look shinny. Ball was made with two halves of pound cakes baked in metal mixing bowl. Thanks for looking.

Inspired again from CC, This 1st birthday cake was for a winter wonderland themed party. The snow globe was a real picture frame snowglobe with based covered in mmf. This was a good lesson in structure and support. It held up fine.

A free standing bottle design is not easy. All I can say is that structure is so important. This was my first attempt and when all else fails grab a glass from the china closet and hot glue it to the board. It was just a family party so all was forgiven.
