This cake was based on the movie, "How to Train your Dragon". I made the dragon out of gum paste and fondant, and then used a marbling texture to get the mountain beneath to look like rock.
This cake was so much fun to make! As with all of my cakes, everything is edible, from the remote to the game CD! The CD was my favourite part because I hand painted the cover onto a gum paste disc I cut out using a real CD as a guideline.
This cake was made for a Battlefield enthusiast on his birthday. the gun and the grenade I carved out of cake, and used an airbrush to give it that metal look.
This cake was a cake of all the birthday girl's favourite things! I hand painted the logos, and cut the other ones out of fondant and gumpaste. I like the frills and the topsy turvy look, it kind of makes it look whimsical in a way :)
This was a cake made for a bridal shower who's theme was "Sail away with me". I like the simplicity of this cake, and my favourite part is the seagulls!
For this cake, I was asked to make an anime replica of the birthday boy. It was definitely a challenge but I think it turned out ok :) As with all of my cakes, everything is edible!!
This one was so much fun to make! He was actually hard to part with when the client came to pick him up..
This cake is still my favourite one that i've made to date. It was a lot of work and took a long time, but I think it was well worth it in the end!
This was a birthday cake for a scotch lover as you can tell! It was based off of the McCallum brand, which we replaced with his last name, and the number to his birthday number. My favourite part about this cake was hand painting the label.
