I made all the little chocolate bits (goals and footballs) the night ahead: and then the next day brought them down while I baked the cakes. Like an idiot, I set the bag down on the stove top-- long story short, I threw away the bag of melted footballs and was up past midnight remaking inferior ones.
My mother had a knit-all-day celebration so I made these cupcakes. Cake was swiss chocolate (mix) with almond-butter filling and almond buttercream. The sheep was made with a green base coat. I piped grass covering that and used a small-ish star tip to create a mound for the body: marshmallows were used for the legs and the head, which I piped a bit of icing on the top of and stuck cut up marshmallows into for ears. The yarn cupcakes were covered in Wilton4 piping (I tried to get the color variegated by paint food-color over the inside of a piping bag filled with white icing) and then I used pocky with cheerios on the end for knitting needles.
Lifted the decoration pretty much directly from Hello Cupcake, but the cake/frosting was tastier in my opinion!
