This is a Doc McStuffins cake that I make for my daughter's 3rd birthday. The cakes were WASC---chocolate and white. I used the SugarShack buttercream icing recipe to cover the cakes and used marshmallow fondant accents on the cake. Figures were made from fondant and gumpaste.
This was my first attempt at a cake like this! It was for my beautiful daughter's 1st birthday party. The first story of the castle is comprised of two flush-stacked tiers. The very bottom tier is WASC and the tier on top of that is Chocolate WASC. The second story of the castle is Strawberry WASC. The entire castle is covered in MMF, with MMF and gumpaste details. The towers are made of sugar cones, regular cones, and paper towel rolls all covered in MMF. The trees are made of sugar cones covered in royal icing with chocolate candy-coated pretzel rod tree trunks.
