Helpful hint, if your going to use color flow to make a candy design then you don't want to use a frosting that is super moist or had much color because the color flow will absorb the moister and the food coloring underneath it and turn soft and discolored. And lets face it, if your going to do all that work you want it to turn out beautifully.

I used snow flake cookie cutters and rolled out some fondant and used icing for the designs on the flakes.
Eyes are oreo's with m&n's for pupils, nose is a candy hard banana, ears are oreo cookie broken in half and spiked with frosting to look like feathers.
So a friend of mine needed a cake for her nieces birthday but didn't have the time to make the cake, so we went to costco and bought a sheet cake. We cut it up, stacked it and then I decorated it and we added the towers. Turned out rather well if you ask me.
