Twisted Fairytale Collaboration
Here is my contribution for the Twisted fairytale cake collaboration. This piece is derived from The Snow Queen, the devil has made a magic mirror that distorts the appearance of everything it reflects. It does not reflect the good or beautiful aspects of people and things, but magnifies their bad and ugly aspects. The devil teaches a devil school and takes the mirror to his pupils throughout the world, delighting in using it to distort everyone and everything they see. My character chooses to see the good in herself and the world around her. You can see all of the twisted sugar works of art at https://www.facebook.com/twistedfairytalecake
Chevron Baby Shower Cake
I learned two things this weekend; 1. How easy and beautiful wafer paper flowers are to make 2. Wafer paper refuses to be grey! So I mimicked the look with very thinly rolled fondant. Inspired by the beautiful work of Jessica Harris :)

Ballerina Fondant Cake Topper
Here's a ballerina fondant cake topper I made for an etsy customer, inspired by the beautiful work of Carlos Lischetti :)
This is my first gravity defying cake that turned out decent. I made this for my daughters 18th birthday. I had my husband build the structure but it was a bit loose, so I asked my grandfather reinforce it and he added the branches from his yard lol, so the branches with leafs are real, it looks like the one behind his bum is touching but it's not and I covered it with saran while I worked on it :)
